Machine Studios was an old property of Sidd Anders in which I made my first experimental compositions in 2009. I was an untalented DJ trying to make something noisy and chaotic with pre-recorded sounds, music and other experimental recordings. One day, Anders brought a piano to the studio (I sincerely don't know how) and convinced me to play something on it. In those days, I was into Stockhausen and John Cage's music and got my inspiration to record some long pieces of "avantgarde piano". The field recordings and sessions of musique concrete were added later, as I was revisiting these old recordings and I thought they could match together perfectly.
