Falso
Released september 16th, 2011
FALSO is definitively one of my personal favorite albums I've recorded. It was conceived at a time I was in search for a new direction, sound and style. I left my first Sir Carpenter Studios in may 2011 after the first part of the Make Mac Bleed Minitour, and relocated in a new recording studio I called A.S.S. (Andromeda Sky System). I switched from digital noise generated by computers, to MIDI keyboards and synthesized instruments softwares, as well as a technique I started developing while on tour: the Vocal Synthesizers (basically, my own voice through microphone making noises and being processed with real time effects). I also became more interested on a more reverberated sound. The album also features a short piece for synthesizer called "I Killed Maggot" which I first composed in 2009 but recorded it unsuccessfully until the release of FALSO. It was often played or performed as encore of my live performances.
