After the conclusion of ROOTS OF HELL and NOISEORCHESTRA, I thought that I couldn't make another change in my production style. My biggest fear was to get stuck in a same technique, but soon I realized that the way I produced music was good. However, I needed a change of direction and started trying new tricks. I discovered granular synthesis in 2015 and started making sounds with it, working with tone generators and existent vintage recordings. MODULATION GENESIS marks the beginning of a new era in the history of Sir Edgar Carpenter: the Granular Era. Although I haven't discarded old techniques as Vocal Synthesizers or Broken Music, they were reduced in quantity in favor of new sounds.
